The introduction and "The Birdcatcher's Aria" are as in Mozart's opera 'The Magic Flute' (where the aria is sung 3 times), with the distinctive flute figure as a feature. In this arrangement, a variation has been added to provide the soloist with the opportunity to display instrumental prowess.
