Honeysuckle Rose is considered one of jazz's great masterpieces. The charismatic Thomas Fats Waller released Honeysuckle Rose in 1929 and over the years it has been recorded more than 500 times, with artists including Tommy Dorsey, Count Basie, Coleman Hawkins, Earl Hines, Louis Armstrong, Benny Goodman, Lena Horne and Nat King Cole.
