Moonlight Serenade was written by American jazz musician, bandleader and composer Glenn Miller in the late 1930s. His own recording from 1939 was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 1991. The song is one of the most iconic tunes from the swing-era and is one of the most popular jazz tunes ever written.
