That Gilbert & Sullivan's operettas have survived and are loved everywhere is partly due to Gilbert's witty libretti, but it is Sullivan's tunes which have made the works timeless. In this arrangement, Johnson, Stuart skillfully combines 'The Lord High Executioner' (from 'The Mikado') with 'Cat Like Tread' (from 'Pirates of Penzance').
