Four short movements to reveal the characters that make up a brass quintet. The Two Trumpets are duelling each other in a race to the end, and the Horn plays music hinting at its roots in the hunt. The Trombone plays in a blues style, laid back and unhurried, and the Tuba, the biggest instrument, shows us it can leap about, as agile as the others. This is a Brass Quintet! The set includes additional parts (Horn in Eb, Trombone in Bb TC, Bass in Eb TC and Bass in Bb TC) for flexibility.
