Score & Parts. Prelude to Revelry is based on two traditional British drinking songs, Little Brown Jug and Come Landlord fill the Flowing Bowl. The material was originally used as incidental music for a radio comedy and was later scored for brass band. In the late 1940s, Dr. Jacob re-scored the piece for Symphonic Wind Band.
