Swingin' Down The Lane is a very rare chart from the Benny Goodman band. It is transcribed from his February 7th, 1939 Camel Caravan broadcast from the State Theatre, Hartford, Connecticut, although the brass parts have been augmented to a full 8 piece section. All of the original solos (Clarinet x 3, Trumpet & Tenor) are written out in full too. The reeds are scored for solo Clarinet, 2 Altos and 2 Tenors. There are no sax doubles. For lovers of Goodman, this chart is a 'must-have' for the library, and a good one for the swing dancers too. Duration 2:20 Grade: Medium
