Echoes of Maria Schneider's earlier works in a chart that's approachable by more ensembles (i.e. no woodwind doubles, modest brass ranges). Rich, dense harmonies; lyrical melodies over top of a brisk, moving rhythm section; modal solo changes for your tenor and trombone improvisers. Works great mid-set.
