The Portuguese title of this Matt Harris original translates to The Innocent Kiss. Recorded by the Kluvers Big Band in Arhus, Denmark, this Brazilian samba appears on their CD Reflections featuring Matt's music as well as his piano playing. This work was commissioned by the 2003 University of Portland (OR) Jazz Festival directed by David Parker and features flugelhorn soloist; solo space is also allowed for piano and guitar.
