Instrumentation: Flute, Oboe, Bb Clarinet, French Horn and Bassoon. This lighthearted original gives players outside normal jazz circles a chance to swing with the best of them. As is true of all of Lennie's ensemble materials, the parts in these quintets are an interesting mix of independent lines and tutti passages. American Grade 3+
