This classic melody was composed by Adolphe Charles Adam, a prolific writer from Paris, France. After studying with his father and others at the Paris Conservatory, he went on to compose over 50 operas and 12 ballets. But his best known work was Cantique De Noel, also known as O Holy Night. Normally performed by a vocal soloist, Arthur Frackenpohl has expertly penned three separate American Grade 4 arrangements of this wonderful source music for Alto Saxophone trio, Horn in F trio, and Trombone trio.
