The music in this unique grade 4-5 collection may be used in three ways: Each of the four snare drum solos may be played alone; each of the four timpani solos may be played alone; each of the snare drum and timpani solos may be played together as a duet. This material is ideal for lessons with a private teacher; the student plays one part while the teacher plays the other. To cover all performance options, the music for each piece includes a solo snare drum part, a solo timpani part, and two copies of the music in score form for duet presentations.
