Clarinet and Piano. The inspiration for this impressionistic work came when Lennie decided to take time off from composing and spent a day at the ocean near Santa Barbara. As he watched waves washing ashore, the sun sparkling like diamonds on the water, people swimming and surfing, and kids playing on the beach, the musical idea for this piece came into his mind.
