In contrast to Vince Guaraldi's up-tempo “Linus and Lucy” (also of “Peanuts” fame), this theme is a laid-back medium tempo swinger that alternates between a “2” feel and a “walking 4” feel. Plenty of tutti ensemble playing is featured, and there is a solo included for any sax.
