The inspiration for this unique composition came from the charming Iroquois folk melody, Ho Ho Watanay and the ancient Ojibwe legend of the dreamcatcher. It was believed that the magical webs of the dreamcatcher would filter out all bad dreams and only allow good thoughts to enter the mind. Using evocative percussion effects, colourful orchestration and harmonies, Dreamcatcher sounds much more impressive and advanced than its grade level would suggest. Definitely a piece that will bring a different flavor to any concert and excite the imagination!
