Bella Ciao originated as an Italian folk song, stemming all the way from the late 19th century. Many versions have since appeared over the years, but the song now has a new lease of life owing to a new dance adaption as well as its feature as the theme for the Netflix series La Casa de Papel, which has inspired Anthony Groger to create this dynamic arrangement for string quartet.
