In this three-part piece, Peter Kleine Schaars uses the initials of the German concert band association otherwise known as the Bund Deutscher Blasmusikverbande (BDB). With 'B' equating to a B flat, various themes based on this sequence of notes follow one another: a funky fanfare, a comical waltz and a soulful set in a Mowtown style.
