In 1979, Dan Hartman's disco classic, Relight My Fire, occupied the top slot of the US dance charts for six weeks. In 1993, the song was back at No. 1 reworked and sung by British boyband, Take That. Both of these versions inspired Peter Kleine Schaars in his arrangement of Relight My Fire for concert band.
