This prelude and fugue by Dietrich Buxtehude, one of the great composers of the early Baroque era, has been expertly arranged for brass by Peter Knudsvig. It was originally in G minor, however, has been lowered by a tone, to take advantage of the rich sonorities to be found for brass in F minor.
