This exciting suite draws on music from three masters of the early 17th century, John Bull, Isaac Posch and Paul Peuerl. Variations by John Bull should be played in strict tempo while the Intrada by Isaac Posch can be done justice by different tempi; arranger Peter Knudsvig prefers a fairly slow interpretation himself. O Musica was originally written for five parts. A bold tempo and great dynamic differences will give this work the brilliance it deserves.
