The Emmylou Harris version of Pat Ballard's Mr Sandman was an international hit. In this arrangement Klaas van der Woude shows this song is also perfectly suited for three instrumental soloists with brass band accompaniment. The special close harmony effect is obtained by a tight three-part arrangement of the melody.
