Maintaining friendships for a lifetime requires a lot of attention. For Franz Watz, who composed this woodwind trio, this also includes the movements: Freude und Besinnlichkeit (joy and contemplation), Eir Traum (dreams), Schelmische Neckereien (mischievous teasing) and Streit und Versohnung (quarrels and reconciliation). Part 2 can also be played by alto clarinet, and the third part by the alto or bass clarinet.
