E flat Clarinet, 3 B flat Clarinets, Alto Clarinet, Bass Clarinet. This piece comes from Grieg's second Peer Gynt suite. Because of its haunting nature, it was used recently on Joanna Lumley's film about the northern lights, and the piece brings on visions of the aurora flickering across the night sky.
