'Fujiko' is a feature for Eb clarinet which initially explores the low register of the instrument before embarking on a journey upwards ! A beautifully scored reflective and melancholy piece. Commissioned by the British Clarinet Ensemble for their performance at the 2005 Clarinet-fest of the International Clarinet Association held in Tokyo, Japan on Saturday 23rd July 2005, with sponsorship from the Clarinet & Saxophone Society of Great Britain and Henri Selmer Paris.
