Inspired by the march from Holst's Second Suite in F, Keystone is a colourful, original work with an added contemporary flair. JaRod Hall weaves through fanfares, lyrical passages, modulations, and a lilting compound-duple section, ultimately arriving at a cinematic coda that brings the piece to a triumphant close. An incredible festival work.
