The Presidential Medal of Freedom is the highest civilian award in the United States. Bestowed by the President, the award recognizes those individuals who have made "an especially meritorious contribution to the security or national interests of the United States, world peace, cultural or other significant public or private endeavours." This bright, contemporary 2/4 march pays tribute to all past, present, and future winners of the award, and salutes their numerous achievements and contributions.
