Jazz trumpet legend Clifford Brown composed it and arranger Carl Strommen adapted this bebop classic into an excellent swing chart. The opening melody is stated by tenor and trumpet, followed by written- out 8-bar solos for each, a nice sax soli and easy brass ranges all combine to produce a great big band chart.
