Written in 1999 at the invitation of Eugene Symphony Orchestra conductor Miguel Harth-Bedoya for his innovative program 'Tango Lesson', which also featured tangos by Piazzolla, Gardel and Stravinsky. This piece blends tango style with elements of Klezmer Music. Instrumentation: 2 Flutes, 2 Oboes, 2 Clarinets, 2 Bassoons, 2 Horns in F, 2 Trumpets in Bb, Percussion (2 Players), Strings 8/8/8/4/4.
