AATB Saxophone Quartet with Score The theme of Kommet, Ihr Hirten presented in the style of a classical swing waltz is then followed by a tutti variation of the melody in 4/4 time and, subsequently, by a tenor saxophone solo, which again returns to the original measure. The arrangement is written in a medium swing tempo and can be mastered - without setting a high standard in view of technical virtuosity - by and truly committed saxophone quartet.
