Pullin' Punches is a brisk, free wheeling up tempo jazz piece in the Chick Corea bag. The essential theme has lots of brass punches within it, hence the title, and it includes plenty of fun for the Drummer with ample interplay throughout. A wonderful piece by one of the country's greatest contemporary writers. No doubt, this chart is for more mature bands only! Terrific for festival use!
