This one is way cool, but the energy it creates is hot. It's a medium tempo swinger in a minor key, reminiscent of some of the great Buddy Rich tunes. Just when you think you know where it's going, the harmonies change and lead to something new. The open section for solos of your choice is built upon very basic minor Blues changes. Plenty of dynamic contrasts, with a very soft sax soli leading into a shout chorus that really roars. There's plenty Bang for Your Buck with this one. Even Bands that usually play more difficult material will dig it.
